The inaugural Iran National Technology and Innovation Financing Award (INTIFA) will be held in Mordad 1404 (July–August 2025) with the aim of recognizing and honoring pioneers and influential actors in the field of technology and innovation financing in Iran.
According to the Public Relations of the Iran Venture Capital Association, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Hossein Sajadi Niri announced that the award, officially titled the Iran National Technology and Innovation Financing Award (INTIFA), is designed to identify institutions, innovative instruments, and financial innovations that have significantly contributed to the technology and innovation sector. From this year onward, the award will be presented annually by the Iran Venture Capital Association.
The event will be organized in collaboration with the Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, the Technology Deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, and the Secretariat of the Research and Technology Funds Working Group.
Dr. Amirhesam Behrouz, Secretary of INTIFA, highlighted the registration deadline, stating that applications for the first edition of the award will remain open until the end of Tir 1404 (July 2025).
He added that the award will recognize leading and impactful institutions across various segments, including facilities, guarantees, venture capital, crowdfunding, business angels, and sector-specific
investments. Moreover, innovative tools and solutions in startup and knowledge-based company financing, as well as distinguished individuals active in this field, will also be acknowledged.
The award’s audience comprises all institutions and individuals active in Iran’s technology financing ecosystem, including banks, research and technology funds, investment institutions, corporate venture capital (CVC) funds, business angels, and crowdfunding platforms.
