On Saturday, November 8, the 113th board meeting of the Iranian Venture Capital Association was hosted by the Fanasa Research and Technology Fund.
During the meeting, by unanimous vote of the board members, Mr. Sajad Zavar was elected as the Secretary for the seventh term of the Association. The board members congratulated the new Secretary and emphasized the importance of unity and coordination among members, transparency in decision-making, addressing industry matters, and strengthening effective communication with the Association’s members.
Additionally, the regulations of the Association’s commissions were reviewed, and it was decided that following the completion of the amendments, they would be submitted for final approval in the next session.
The meeting also included presentations on the performance reports of the commissions, discussions and exchanges of views regarding the amendment of the commissions’ regulations, and a speech by the new Secretary outlining the vision for the Association’s seventh term.
Wishing success to the new Secretary and the board members in enhancing the role of the Association in the development of the country’s venture capital ecosystem.
