On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the National Venture Capital Association of Iran held its Extraordinary and Annual General Assembly at the Parsian Esteghlal International Hotel in Tehran. The meeting was attended by 126 representatives from member organizations, the Board of Directors, auditors, and the official representative of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare. With the confirmation of the Ministry’s representative and in accordance with the Association’s bylaws and legal regulations, the session was declared valid.

During the session, the Association’s performance and financial reports for the fiscal year ending in 2024 were presented and reviewed. The Secretary of the Board delivered a comprehensive report on the Association’s operational activities over the past year, emphasizing the Secretariat’s continuous role in managing internal processes and coordinating among members. He highlighted the Secretariat’s efforts in maintaining ongoing communication with members, following up on professional matters, organizing meetings and specialized workshops, and facilitating collaboration to strengthen the venture capital ecosystem.

The Treasurer then presented the financial report, detailing income, expenditures, and resource allocation. The legal auditor of the Association reviewed the financial documentation, confirmed the accuracy of the reports, and emphasized transparency and adherence to auditing standards.

In the Extraordinary Session, the proposal to hold General Assemblies virtually and electronically was discussed and approved by the majority of members.

In the Annual Ordinary Session, the Secretary and the President of the Association presented a two-year performance report of the sixth Board of Directors. The Treasurer and Auditor of the same term also presented the financial statements for the fiscal year ending in 2024, which were approved by the majority vote of the members after review.

In the final part of the meeting, elections were held for the first year of the seventh Board of Directors and the Auditor. Among 20 candidates for the Board and 4 for the Auditor position, with full participation of 126 voting members (122 valid votes and 4 invalid), the new Board composition was determined as follows:

Elected Auditor:

  • Naser Shokri (47 votes)

The National Venture Capital Association of Iran expressed its gratitude for the active participation of its members in the Assembly and officially announced the commencement of activities for the newly elected Board of Directors and Auditor.
