As Iran stands at the threshold of the New Year (1405), our hearts are heavy with a profound national grief. The beginning of this spring is marked by the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, who fell victim to recent acts of external aggression. He was a steadfast visionary and the primary patron of Iran’s “Software Movement” and scientific self-reliance. His loss is deeply felt by the entire scholarly and technological community.

However, in this critical juncture, the swift and decisive appointment of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader by the Assembly of Experts serves as a clear signal of political stability, the continuity of national authority, and the preservation of unity amidst imposed challenges.

The Iranian Venture Capital Association (IRVC) offers its deepest condolences on this monumental loss and wishes success for the new Leadership. At the same time, we extend our greetings for the Persian New Year to the noble nation of Iran and the vibrant community of the innovation ecosystem. We believe that the convergence of spring with these historic transitions symbolizes the inherent power of national rebirth and growth following the harshest of winters.

The recent military aggression and the imposition of a new conflict upon our land have underscored the vital importance of “Infrastructural Independence” and “Economic Resilience.” As investors in the innovation sector, we firmly believe that safeguarding our human capital and providing organic support to technology-driven cores is the most strategic response to external threats. If the security of our borders is maintained through the sacrifice of our defenders, the stabilization of Iran’s economic future lies in the hands of knowledge-based development and the sustainability of innovative enterprises.

In the year 1405, our mission within the innovation ecosystem is to transcend short-term perspectives and focus on value creation amidst crises. At the Iranian Venture Capital Association, alongside our entrepreneurs and elite talents, we remain committed to transforming the challenges of war into opportunities for national modernization. We will strive to play our part in building a powerful, advanced, and stable Iran.

We wish for a year of victory, prosperity, and enduring resilience for our beloved Iran.
