By a resolution of the Board of Directors of the Iran Venture Capital Association, Dr. AmirHesam Behrouz has been appointed as Secretary of the Second National Award on Technology and Innovation Financing of Iran (INTIFA 2026).
In this capacity, the Secretary of INTIFA 2026 is entrusted with leading the second edition of the Award through a strategic and structured approach. The mandate includes conducting a comprehensive review of the inaugural edition, reassessing evaluation indicators and frameworks, and organizing the second edition in October 2026. The overarching objective is to enhance the Award’s effectiveness, strengthen its professional authority, and broaden engagement across the national innovation ecosystem.
Key responsibilities also encompass the development and publication of a comprehensive report on the financing landscape of Iran’s technology and innovation ecosystem, the expansion of strategic engagement among policymakers, financial institutions, investors, and innovation actors, and the formulation of actionable recommendations to elevate the Award’s national and international standing.
It is anticipated that, under the Secretary’s leadership, the Second National Award on Technology and Innovation Financing of Iran (INTIFA 2026) will serve as an inspiring platform to reinforce investment flows into technology and innovation and to further advance the country’s knowledge-based economy.
