The second specialized financial training course for Technology Development Funds and Corporate Venture Capital Funds, focusing on “Financial Statements and Financial Reporting,” was held by the National Venture Capital Association of Iran with the support of the Secretariat of the Specialized Working Group on Funds.
This two-day program addressed specialized topics related to the introduction and training of reporting and oversight tools for funds. The course was attended by CEOs and financial managers of Technology Development Funds, financial and supervisory experts, and specialized consultants.
The aim of the course was to enhance the professional capabilities of financial managers and to establish a shared understanding regarding financial performance reporting and oversight mechanisms. At the end of the course, participants proposed recommendations to improve transparency in financial reporting, design performance evaluation tools, and strengthen the connection between funds and regulatory bodies.
On the sidelines of the event, a networking opportunity was provided for participants to exchange field experiences in fund financial management. The attending managers emphasized the importance of continuing such professional training programs to improve the financial performance quality of the funds.
At the conclusion of the course, participants underscored the necessity of maintaining ongoing communication between the funds and the National Venture Capital Association of Iran as the specialized supporting body.
According to the final summary, the proposed recommendations from this course will be submitted to the Specialized Working Group on Funds for further review. Organizing such training courses by the National Venture Capital Association of Iran is part of its professional role in empowering financial institutions and fostering coordination and synergy between funds and policymaking entities.
