
Kimia College Launches Venture Capital Analyst Training Program with Government Support
Kimia College, in collaboration with the Infrastructure Development Office for Iran’s Innovation Ecosystem under the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and the Knowledge-Based Economy, has announced the launch of a specialized training program for aspiring venture capital analysts.
The course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills required to operate in the venture capital industry, particularly within the country’s knowledge-based and technology-driven ecosystem.
Key Training Modules Include:
Business model and revenue model design
Startup financing methods and fundraising strategies
VC portfolio management
Insurance and tax frameworks for knowledge-based firms
Financial statement analysis
Legal foundations and contract structuring
Market research and feasibility studies
Evaluation reporting and cognitive biases in investment
Startup valuation techniques
Application Process and Tuition
Interested applicants may complete a free pre-registration form via the Kimia College website. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews after review by the program’s selection committee.
Total tuition: IRR 200 million
Subsidy: 70% of tuition will be funded by the Vice Presidency for eligible candidates
Background on Kimia Program
The Kimia Initiative was launched in 2017 with support from the Science and Technology Park of Sharif University of Technology and the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology. It offers a wide range of programs including training modules, study tours, and internships, all focused on enhancing the capacity of Iran’s innovation ecosystem.
