The third meeting of the “Commission for the Development of Corporate Venture Capital Funds” was held. During this session, a series of critical topics related to the development and performance enhancement of corporate venture capital (CVC) funds were discussed and reviewed. The meeting was attended by members of the Commission for Corporate Venture Capital Funds.

The main topics of the session were as follows:
• Reviewing the model statute of research and technology-based corporate venture capital funds and providing recommendations for its revision;
• Discussing tax credit regulations and relevant implementation mechanisms;
• Introducing the investment portfolio of the Ariogene Fund and presenting its investment opportunities;
• Promoting synergy and consultation regarding the design of co-investment mechanisms among active funds in this domain.

During the session, commission members exchanged views on operational challenges, legal gaps, and practical experiences of the funds. They also proposed improvements to certain procedures and ways to strengthen inter-fund cooperation. These series of meetings are held with the goal of fostering a specialized dialogue among key stakeholders in the field of corporate venture capital. They are also seen as a pathway to enhancing the connection between the private sector and policy-making bodies.

The members shared technical opinions and made suggestions to improve structures and facilitate implementation processes. The role of the National Venture Capital Association in designing and leading this commission, creating a specialized space for dialogue, and consistently following up on operational recommendations through engagement with responsible institutions is a key element of this process.

The National Venture Capital Association seeks to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration in the field of innovation investment by forming specialized commissions and holding regular meetings. The Commission plans to continue these sessions regularly with clearly defined agendas.

The synthesis of opinions and recommendations presented in this session will serve as a foundation for the Commission’s ongoing discussions and future initiatives. The continuation of these meetings within the Commission framework aims to foster coordination, enhance transparency, improve operational processes, and strengthen collaboration among corporate venture capital funds. The Commission for the Development of Corporate Venture Capital Funds aims to establish a suitable platform for dialogue, experience sharing, and submission of policy improvement proposals to relevant authorities.
