The second event introducing innovative financial instruments tailored for industrial and manufacturing units based in the provinces of Mazandaran, Gilan, and Golestan was held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at the Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture, located at kilometer 3 of the Sari–Qaemshahr Highway.

This event was attended by representatives from the National Association of Venture Capital, crowdfunding platforms, and research and technology funds. Among the key participants were:

• Abbas Ali – Expert Secretary and Board Member of the National Association of Venture Capital; CEO of Talashgaran Sustainable Economy Research and Technology Fund
• Mehrdad Yazdani – CEO and Board Member of iFund Crowdfunding Platform
• Sheila Hajilari – CEO of the Golestan Province Research and Technology Fund
• Sajad Vakili – CEO and Board Member of HalalFund Crowdfunding Platform
• Hossein Nasiri – CEO of Shayan Seham Pouyan Brokerage
• Zahra Jafari – Investment Portfolio and Monitoring Expert at the Non-Governmental Research and Technology Fund of Gilan Province

The main themes of this session included the introduction of modern financial instruments, the role of crowdfunding platforms in industrial development, and the exchange of views on the challenges and opportunities in financing industrial units.

Key outcomes of the event included increased awareness among participants about innovative financing tools, enhanced collaboration between manufacturing units and crowdfunding platforms, and the establishment of cooperative frameworks to promote sustainable industrial growth.

The National Association of Venture Capital played an active role in this event. As one of the key institutional actors in the venture capital ecosystem, the Association presented the existing capacities and capabilities in this domain in a comprehensive manner. Furthermore, the Association contributed to strengthening the investment ecosystem by promoting specialized knowledge and encouraging the application of modern financial instruments. One of the Association’s main objectives in this gathering was to facilitate purposeful networking between investors and industrial units. This network aimed to enable the exchange of experience, transfer of technical knowledge, and strategic use of financial tools. The Association also emphasized the importance of continuous education and professional development among economic stakeholders, which can enhance trust and transparency in financing processes.

Additionally, specialized discussions addressed the ongoing challenges in industrial financing and practical solutions to overcome these obstacles. Special attention was given to the development of crowdfunding platforms as an effective tool for risk reduction and improved access to financial resources.
