Introduction
Aligned with the Association’s core mission to promote and develop a venture investment culture in Iran, this commission focuses on strengthening the national VC industry and fostering meaningful engagement among members and key stakeholders.
Its mandate includes addressing challenges in venture capital investment, promoting sector-specific knowledge, facilitating collaboration among players, designing new investment instruments, and building strong relationships with supporting institutions such as the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, semi-public organizations, as well as regulatory bodies like the Securities and Exchange Organization and the Iran Fara Bourse.

Formation of specialized entities involving member organizations, multiple co-investment initiatives, and active participation in major investment-focused events such as Startup Yalda Night.

Responsibilities and Areas of Focus
- Policy Development: Engaging with legal frameworks such as the Capital Market Law, the Law on Development of Financial Instruments and Institutions, and other legislative tools to support the VC sector.
- Identifying Challenges and Recommending Solutions: Providing input to accelerate the growth of venture capital in Iran.
- Member Collaboration: Facilitating co-investment models, valuation practices, institutional formation, and collective efforts for VC expansion.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Enhancing collaboration with relevant domestic and international organizations and regulators.
